For the Big EDM Sets: Go Full Rave

Bonnaroo has always mixed genres but the electronic acts on this bill are not messing around. When you are standing in a crowd at 1am watching lasers cut through fog, you want to be wearing something that belongs there. Think iridescent bodysuits, reflective shorts, holographic co-ords. Nothing heavy. Nothing that traps heat. You want to move and you want to be seen. A fitted mesh top over a bright bralette is doing a lot of work for very little effort. Add chunky sneakers or boots and you are set from sundown to sunrise.

For the Rock and Indie Sets: Dark but Make It Interesting

Not every set is a rave. Some of the headliners this year skew rock, alternative, and big stage indie. For those blocks of the show, lean into darker palettes without going boring. Black cargo pants with a cut-out top. A band-inspired graphic tee tucked into vinyl shorts. Layer a sheer long-sleeve over anything and it instantly looks intentional. The goal is to look like you knew exactly what you were doing when you got dressed at 11am before the chaos started.

For Daytime: Practical Is Still a Style Choice

The event runs all day and Tennessee in June is not gentle. Daytime outfits need to handle heat, dust, and a lot of walking. A bright two-piece set in a lightweight fabric is the move. Shorts and a matching cropped jacket you can tie around your waist when things get warm. Comfortable but not sloppy. You will be on your feet for eight hours before your first headliner even starts.
